Lois Philyaw

With a career in the financial industry that began in 1988, Lois Philyaw has become a trusted and experienced Mortgage Loan Officer dedicated to helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams. Currently with Park National Bank for the past six years, Lois brings over 33 years of expertise to her role, ensuring each client receives personalized and attentive service. Lois started her journey as a Mortgage Loan Closer, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in the mortgage process. After four years, she transitioned to an Originator role and has since excelled as a Mortgage Loan Officer, specializing in various financing options tailored to meet diverse client needs. Her passion lies in assisting first-time homebuyers, guiding them through the complexities of securing their first home with confidence and ease.

Driven by a deep commitment to service, Lois embodies the belief that “You can have everything in life that you want if you just help enough other people get what they want.” She also lives by the principle that “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth,” ensuring that her clients receive the highest level of support and dedication.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Lois is actively involved in her community. She has served on the Anderson County YMCA Board and currently contributes her time and expertise to the Habitat for Humanity Board. As a member of the Greater Anderson Rotary Club and an Ambassador for the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce, Lois is committed to making a positive impact locally. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and indulging her inner geek by listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
